Testing Lead - Playwright

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with at least 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for testing ITSFI applications with minimal supervision. You will collaborate closely with business users, the application build IT team, and other IT teams to ensure compliance with WBG internal standards and guidelines. Proficiency in web automation tools like Selenium with Java/C#, Playwright, and automation of native Windows applications are essential for this role. Key responsibilities also include designing automation frameworks, utilizing Azure Test Plans and Azure DevOps, and familiarity with tools like Jmeter and SonarQube. Knowledge of technology environments such as Azure, Azure SQL, MSSQL, and experience in automating native applications like SAP using TOSCA automation tool will be advantageous. Candidates with ISTQB certification, strong process analysis skills, and the ability to suggest enhancements based on industry best practices are preferred. You should possess excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels and demonstrate leadership qualities to collaborate with diverse team members across different locations. Desired skills include prior experience in the Banking & Financial domain, understanding of Data Governance processes, and the ability to identify data quality issues.
