As an Automation Test Engineer at EY, you will play a crucial role in performing automation expediency, suggesting automation approaches, building automation framework, automating manual test cases, maintaining and executing regression tests to ensure all automation needs are met and aligned with customer expectations. Expertise in automation tools like Selenium, Protractor, knowledge on TestNG, and Cucumber BDD Frameworks for automation testing on web and mobile applications, along with proficiency in Java are essential. Additional advantage if you have knowledge on vb scripting and python. Your key responsibilities will include: - Framework Architecture development/enhancement - Building Framework components and libraries - Automating Web Application Testing using Selenium Webdriver with TestNG Framework - Webservice automation using Rest Assured - Protractor knowledge - Mobile application testing using Appium - Designing & Implementing Test Automation Strategy - Creating Automation Test Plan and getting approvals - Automation Framework Design and Implementation - Organizing, managing, and enhancing Test Automation Resources - Debugging, Running, and Enhancing Test Cases - Providing Automation Test Estimations - Monitoring defect management process - Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing - Finding solutions for Object Identification issues and error handling issues - Generating Test Summary Reports - Coordinating with Test team members and Development team - Interacting with clients to solve issues and update status - Leading teams across geographies - Providing automation trainings To qualify for this role, you must have: - BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc qualification - 5-10 years of automation consulting experience across multiple platforms and domains - At least 5 years of experience in automation tools like Selenium, UFT, Protractor Ideally, you'll also have: - Hands-on experience in developing frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, Rest Assured - Created QA Strategy and automation approach from scratch, demonstrated value, ROI of automation to clients - Experience in conducting proof-of-concepts and Tool selection - Excellent communication skills - Ready for individual contributor and Team Leader roles At EY, you will be part of an environment that emphasizes high quality, knowledge exchange, and personal development.
