Tester III - Software Testing (Performance Testing)

As a Performance Testing Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience, you will work in a production environment, focusing on Performance Testing using tools like K6 and JMeter. Your responsibilities will include analyzing performance testing outputs through monitoring tools, with hands-on knowledge of L1 Production Support being beneficial. Experience in collaborating with cross-country teams and knowledge of e-Commerce domain will be advantageous. A relevant educational background such as B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc./M.Sc.IT is required for this role. You should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Performance Testing, with expertise in tools like JMeter and K6. Proficiency in JavaScript and Java is desirable. Your duties will involve designing performance test workload models, analyzing load injectors, and utilizing analyzers to interpret performance data. You will be responsible for test planning, estimation, strategy, workload design, test case design, environment setup, data setup, defect and configuration management. Generating performance graphs, session reports, and other related documents will also be part of your responsibilities. As a crucial member of the team, you will be required to test the application's capacity, contribute to building a resilient system, and monitor the entire Performance Testing process. Proficiency in coding languages like JAVA & JavaScript will be necessary for making changes to performance scripts and introducing innovative approaches to performance testing. You will also provide rotational on-call support, investigate and resolve production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and address performance and scalability issues. Comfort with Agile development practices, technical documentation, and communication with diverse teams is essential. The ability to work in a high-visibility role and communicate effectively with technical team members, business owners, and senior leadership is vital. Your working hours will be from 13:30 to 22:30 IST, and flexibility in working with geographically diverse teams is required.
