Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing tests in strict compliance with detailed instructions. Your role will involve constructing systematic test cases, executing test cases, ensuring new or revised components perform to expectation, documenting test results, and reporting defects. Key Responsibilities: - Construct systematic test cases based on customer user stories or requirements - Execute systematic test cases based on customer user stories or requirements - Ensure that new or revised components or systems perform to expectation - Ensure meeting standards including usability, performance, reliability, or compatibility - Document test results and report defects - Manage knowledge by consuming and contributing - Identify and create test cases and test data - Conduct Smoke testing for system readiness check - Execute test cases/scripts - Identify, log, and track defects - Retest and log productivity data - Participate, seek clarification, understand, and review requirements management - Test feature/component with a good understanding of the business problem being addressed for the client - Review user stories/requirements to identify ambiguities - Design test cases/scripts as per user stories/requirements - Apply techniques to design efficient test cases/scripts - Set up test data and execute tests - Identify anomalies and detail them - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in API testing and test automation Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Proven experience in API testing and automation testing using Java - Strong proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG) - Experience with API testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI - Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs and the ability to design and execute test cases for these services - Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work in an Agile development environment - Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software,
