Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing tests in strict compliance with detailed instructions. Your role involves constructing systematic test cases, executing them, ensuring the components or systems meet expectations, documenting test results, and reporting defects. Key Responsibilities: - Construct systematic test cases based on customer user stories or requirements and test scenarios - Execute the test cases for applications based on customer user stories or requirements - Ensure new or revised components or systems perform to expectation - Ensure standards are met, including usability, performance, reliability, or compatibility - Document test results and report defects Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Proven experience in API testing and automation testing using Java - Strong proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG) - Experience with API testing tools and frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI - Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs and the ability to design and execute test cases for these services - Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work in an Agile development environment - Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software Additional Details: The company is specifically looking for a Java, API, Automation Tester with at least 2 years of experience. Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for API testing using Java and relevant automation tools, creating test plans and test cases for API testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, identifying and reporting defects, conducting regression testing, performing load and performance testing of APIs, participating in code reviews, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in API testing and test automation.,
