Test Lead handles end to end testing project/program and is responsible for all phases of the STLC cycle including test strategy/planning, estimation, test design, testing and release/ support of project/program. He/She is responsible for leading, tracking progress, mentoring the testing team and ensuring that the team adheres to testing process standards, procedures and goals.
