Experience: 10– 12 YearsLocation: [Bangalore]Work Type: [On Site]Department: Quality Assurance / EngineeringJob Overview :-We are looking for an experienced QA Test Lead (10–12 years) to lead our testing efforts across both manual and automated test streams. In this role, you will define the overall test strategy, design scalable test automation frameworks, manage quality deliverables, and mentor a team of QA engineers. The ideal candidate possesses strong hands-on expertise in automation, deep foundational knowledge of manual testing methodologies, and proven leadership capability in Agile environments.Key ResponsibilitiesQA Leadership & StrategyDefine, drive, and execute the end-to-end test strategy, test plans, and quality metrics across complex web and mobile applications. Lead and mentor a team of 5–10 manual and automation QA engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and performance feedback. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, DevOps, and Development Leads to integrate QA processes into the CI/CD pipeline. Track and report core quality metrics (defect density, test coverage, execution velocity) to senior leadership.Test AutomationDesign, build, and maintain robust, scalable UI and API automation frameworks from scratch (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, RestAssured). Implement parallel execution, CI/CD integrations (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab), and automated reporting solutions. Evaluate and select optimal testing tools, libraries, and best practices to expand automation coverage.Manual Testing & Quality EngineeringOversee high-level test case creation, risk-based testing strategies, exploratory testing, and user scenario validation. Lead functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, and acceptance (UAT) testing efforts. Own end-to-end defect management—from triage and root-cause analysis to resolution tracking using tools like Jira.Required Qualifications & Technical SkillsDomain Required Skills & ExperienceExperience 10–12 years in QA, with at least 3+ years in a Lead / SeniorLead capacity. Automation Hands-on expertise with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress using Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript . API Testing Strong experience testing REST/SOAP APIs (Postman, RestAssured, or Karate framework). Framework Design Proven track record of designing BDD/TDD, Data-Driven, or Hybrid test automation frameworks from scratch. DevOps & Tools Experience integrating test suites with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps ) and Version Control (Git). Process & Tools Deep experience with Jira, Xray/Zephyr , Agile/Scrum methodologies, and sprint planning. Database/SQL Strong SQL skills for backend data verification and test data setup.Soft Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical risks to executive stakeholders. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities under tight project deadlines. Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and resource planning. Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills Exposure to Performance Testing (JMeter, K6, or LoadRunner). Basic understanding of Security Testing / OWASP standards. Experience with Mobile Automation (Appium).

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
