Test Engineer Linux Device Drivers (Wireless Router SoC)

As a Test Engineer at Qualcomm, Chennai, you will play a crucial role in platform-level testing of Linux device drivers in Wireless Router SoC environments. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting platform testing of Linux device drivers such as USB, PCIe, DDR, Flash controller, and Power Management. - Validating platform security features like Secure Boot, ARM TrustZone, OP-TEE, and Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A). - Working with bootloaders like U-Boot for system bring-up and validation. - Executing performance benchmarks for CPU, DDR, PCIe, and Cache subsystems. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. - Documenting test plans, results, and providing feedback for continuous improvement. Your skills should include: - Experience in Linux device driver testing and embedded systems. - Familiarity with platform security technologies like Secure Boot, ARM TrustZone, OP-TEE, TF-A. - Hands-on experience with U-Boot and system boot processes. - Strong understanding of computer architecture and operating system subsystems. - Proficiency in performance benchmarking tools and methodologies. - Excellent analytical and debugging skills. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field. - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in platform testing or embedded systems.
