Test Engineer - L4

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer, your role involves preparing test cases and conducting testing of products, platforms, or solutions to be deployed at client sites. Your main objective is to ensure that the testing process meets 100% quality assurance parameters. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the test requirements and design test cases for the product - Create test planning based on business requirements and testable criteria - Implement Wipro's testing methodology using Model based testing for efficient test generation - Peer review test cases to minimize rework - Collaborate with the development team to identify and document test cases, ensuring version control - Define testing criteria, parameters, scope, and out-scope, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Automate the test life cycle process using vb macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc. - Design and execute the automation framework and reporting - Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases - Ensure test defects are reported according to project/program/account norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns - Identify and report bug issues, prepare defect reports, and monitor test progress - Ensure no rejection or slippage of delivered work items within Wipro/Customer SLAs and norms - Design and release timely test status dashboards at the end of each test cycle for stakeholders - Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risks, and report to stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Understanding of test requirements and test case design for error-free testing solutions, minimum process exceptions, and 100% SLA compliance - Experience in executing test cases and reporting for testing efficiency & quality, on-time delivery, troubleshooting queries within TAT, and maintaining a high CSAT score Additional Company Details: - Maintain ongoing status reporting and customer focus with regards to testing and execution - Ensure high-quality interactions with customers through email content, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette - Deliver on-time reports such as WSRs, Test execution reports, and relevant dashboard updates in the Test management repository - Update accurate efforts in eCube, TMS, and other project-related trackers - Provide timely responses to customer requests and address any complaints internally or externally,
