Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at EB Admin Tech, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the overall quality assurance of the software applications developed and hosted by the company. You will be writing test cases against requirements and developing/running manual tests. Additionally, you will also be responsible for API testing. **Responsibilities:** - Design and implement test cases for new enhancements and regression testing - Develop and maintain test data for different modules - Follow standard development processes and procedures - Develop high-quality manual tests to support development efforts - Utilize DevOps for defect tracking - Hands-on experience in authoring large-scale frameworks with coverage across UI, back-end integration, and database - Work in a sprint team environment or independently as needed - Experience/Understanding of Agile environment - Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills - Create multi-level architectures for web applications - Handle quality assurance and test environment problems/issues across multiple applications - Execute and validate API web services using tools like Postman - Thorough knowledge of software testing practices, including test planning and defect management **Required Skills & Attributes:** - Understanding of web services (REST), JSON, and XML data formats - Knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps, Test hub, GIT, Putty, WinScp - Defined contributions (401K) knowledge - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience - 3-5 years of experience in preparing and executing manual test scripts **Preferred Skills And Qualifications:** - High integrity and discretion to ensure confidentiality of sensitive client data - Knowledge of OmniScript - Ability to work both in a team environment and individually - Effective planning and priority setting - Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate - Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment As a Quality Assurance Engineer at EB Admin Tech, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the overall quality assurance of the software applications developed and hosted by the company.
