Test Engineer

To be successful in this role, you must display a solid understanding of core fundamental concepts and be focused on growing as an engineer. You will be responsible for learning the team's tools and current processes, developing productivity skills, and understanding engineering best practices. Additionally, you should be capable of taking well-defined tactical sub-tasks from a larger project and completing them within a reasonable time frame. Your focus will be on learning about a specific component or product sub-area and mastering that component. Key Qualifications: - Ability to interpret and carry out a Test Plan - Proficiency in performing tests to a given script (Manual or Automated) - Skill in identifying defects reliably - Effective communication of defects using suitable tools - Capability to compile and publish a Test Report - Awareness of Functional and Non-functional Testing Techniques - Familiarity with a range of tools and techniques for test automation - Contribution to improving delivery - Understanding the importance of evidence-based analysis - Ability to extend existing automated Test Solutions with new Test Cases Desired Experience: - An Engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of related experience - Effective communication of status to managers and team members - Knowledge of Agile processes and principles At AssaAbloy, we value results over titles or backgrounds.
