Test Engineer - Automation testing

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer at UBS in Pune, your main responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: - Developing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing of banking applications - Creating, executing, and maintaining manual test cases - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage - Executing automated test suites and analyzing results to identify defects and areas for improvements - Working closely with developers and other stakeholders to enhance test automation frameworks - Participating in test planning, estimation, and strategy sessions to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software - Reporting bugs and effectively working closely with developers in the bug resolution Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a test automation engineer, preferably in the banking or financial industry - Extensive experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar - Working knowledge of API testing and experience with tools for API testing, performance testing, database testing, and mobile testing - Expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks (e.g., BDD, TestNG, etc.) for both GUI and API automation - Strong understanding of continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines - In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills About the Company: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
