Test Automation Lead

Role Overview: As a Test Automation Lead, you will lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to implement quality processes, tools, and methodologies that significantly enhance control, accuracy, and integrity in testing. You will also focus on evolving predictive and intelligent testing approaches, leveraging automation and innovative testing products and solutions to drive improvements in quality engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Own and deliver the performance test and engineering strategy and execution for WMS releases - Define workload models, SLAs, KPIs, and success criteria in consultation with business, SMEs and infrastructure teams - Oversee test planning, environment readiness, and data provisioning activities - Lead execution of baseline, load and stress tests, ensuring robust monitoring and traceability - Triage, tune, and resolve performance issues breaching SLAs in collaboration with BY, DB, and infrastructure teams - Drive bottleneck analysis using end-to-end telemetry across workflows - Present performance health reports and go-live readiness assessments to senior stakeholders - Mentor and guide performance test engineers and enforce quality practices and focus on continuous delivery enhancements - Support post-go-live performance monitoring and tuning cycles Qualification Required: - Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy - Educational Qualification: 15 years full-time education (Note: The additional information section regarding the candidate's experience in Performance Testing Strategy, job location in Chennai, and educational qualification has been included in the Qualification Required section for clarity.),
