Test automation engineer- Play Wright

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software through meticulous testing processes. Your main responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and defining comprehensive test strategies. - Creating detailed test plans and test cases to ensure thorough testing coverage. - Performing various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using defect tracking tools. - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts for functional and regression testing. - Integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing. - Documenting test results, generating reports, and providing feedback to developers for improvement. - Working closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance software quality. - Staying updated with industry trends and tools in software testing and implementing process improvements. Your qualifications should include: - 5-8 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing. - Proficiency in testing tools like PlayWright, TypeScript, etc. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Azure. - Basic knowledge of programming languages like Angular, Python, or C#. - Understanding of RESTful APIs and database testing. In addition, soft skills are essential for this role, including excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills. Educational requirements for this position include a BE/B. Tech/MTech/MCA degree.,
