Test Automation Engineer III

You are obsessed with the quality of software and always aim for the highest standards in the software your team develops. As a Test Automation Engineer at PDI Technologies, you will be part of an Agile team, working closely with software engineers and the product team throughout the project lifecycle. Your main responsibilities include maximizing the quality, measurability, and supportability of production features, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, and shifting the focus towards defect prevention through automation. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare Test Plans for UI and API testing - Review acceptance criteria and identify Non-Functional Requirement gaps - Mentor and support other engineering teams in writing efficient tests - Identify opportunities to replace manual testing with automated tests - Automate traceability of Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Test cases - Collaborate with DevOps to set up test environments - Participate in Agile ceremonies & activities and be accountable for sprint deliverables - Design & build automation for smoke, feature & regression tests - Perform code reviews on automated tests written by team members Qualifications: - 7 - 9 years of experience in software development testing and test automation - Proficient in SQL based RDBMS and NoSQL - Proficient in JavaScript testing frameworks: Playwright, Cypress - Experience with Node.JS/JavaScript and Azure DevOps - Experience integrating testing results with Jenkins - Experience with web application and database querying - Experience with BDD, gherkin language - Experience writing functional and performance tests for Web APIs and Web Applications - Comfortable working with Mac OS X, bash scripting - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines - Collaborative nature with a strong desire to learn and influence decisions Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Selenium is a plus - Preferred: Loyalty and Rebate domain experience In addition to the above, PDI Technologies offers a comprehensive benefits program, competitive salary, and a supportive work environment promoting diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning opportunities.,
