Tesla Mechanical Design

Role & responsibilities Create and modify 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Inventor Assist in designing mechanical structures and hydraulic systems as per project requirements Ensure accuracy in drafting and detailing with adherence to GD&T standards Perform basic engineering calculations to support design decisions Collaborate with the team to redesign and optimize existing components Work closely with manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure design feasibility Preferred candidate profile Good understanding of mechanical design, and engineering principles. Proficiency in CAD software, Must have expert knowledge in Inventor Strong knowledge of Sheet metal design using DFM standards. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including kinematics and material science Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) Principle Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaberative environment Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
