Company Description Terre des Hommes CORE Trust (Children’s Organization for Relief and Education) is a registered Indian Non-Governmental / Child Welfare Organization (NGO) focused on assisting children in distress, children in need of care and protection, and the rehabilitation of disabled children. The organization is dedicated to providing relief and education to improve the lives of vulnerable children. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tamil Nadu, India. The Superintendent for the children's home at Tiruvannamalai will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensure the safety and well-being of the children, and coordinate with various staff members to provide a nurturing environment. Responsibilities include maintaining records, planning and implementing programs for the children's development, liaising with government and non-governmental agencies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Qualifications Experience in child welfare, child protection, and rehabilitative services Strong organizational and administrative skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage staff and coordinate with various stakeholders Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to child welfare Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism Degree in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology, or related field is preferred Experience working in an on-site role in a similar setting is a plus
