Terraform Engineer

As a Terraform Engineer at AceNet Consulting, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure and Databricks. Your expertise in Terraform, Azure services, Databricks components, and secret management will be vital in enabling seamless CI/CD automation and fostering cross-team collaboration. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Infrastructure Provisioning for Azure & Databricks:** - Design and implement Terraform scripts tailored for Databricks workspaces, provisioning resources on Azure. - Automate the creation of various resources including SQL Warehouse Databases, REST/API Endpoints, Data Pipelines, and more. - Establish connections to external data sources such as Azure Data Lake and Blob Storage. - **Secure Integration with Vaults:** - Configure pipelines to securely access secrets and credentials using vaults like CyberArk, Azure Key Vault, or HashiCorp Vault. - Ensure sensitive data handling across environments and pipelines is secure. - **CI/CD Pipeline Automation:** - Develop Terraform modules integrated with base code repositories to build CI/CD pipelines for DEV, UAT, and PROD environments. - Utilize tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI to automate deployment workflows. - **Workspace-Specific Resource Management:** - Parameterize Terraform configurations to support multiple workspaces with isolated resources. - Implement tagging, naming conventions, and resource grouping for traceability and cost management. - **Collaboration & Dependency Management:** - Lead cross-functional collaboration to identify and manage track-level needs and dependencies. - Work closely with various teams to align infrastructure with business and technical requirements. - **Governance, Compliance & Best Practices:** - Enforce infrastructure governance policies using Terraform and policy-as-code tools. - Maintain compliance with client-specific security and operational standards. - Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in Terraform development. - **Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:** - Maintain comprehensive documentation for Terraform modules, deployment processes, and environment configurations. - Provide onboarding support and training to other teams on Terraform usage and infrastructure workflows. **Role Requirements And Qualifications:** - 8+ years of total experience. - Strong experience in Infrastructure Provisioning for Azure & Databricks. - Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions/GitLab). - Experience with Key Vault/CyberArk/HashiCorp Vault integration. - Strong communication abilities with clear and effective articulation.
