Role & responsibilities Conduct routine analytical testing and inspections of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Implement and maintain quality assurance systems and standard operating procedures to comply with regulatory requirements and best industry practices. Monitor and document results from quality control analyses, ensuring proper records are kept to satisfy Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and regulatory audits. Investigate deviations, non-conformances, or out-of-specification results, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Participate in the validation and qualification of equipment, methods, and processes, and support internal and external audits. Analyze statistical quality data, identify trends or recurring quality issues, and recommend process/product improvements for continuous quality enhancement. Ensure all activities and results comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations as well as internal company policies. Collaborate with production, R&D, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues quickly and efficiently. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related technical field. 14 years of experience in a QA/QC or analytical testing environment, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or laboratory settings. Familiarity with analytical methods (e.g., FTIR, UV-Vis, HPLC, GC, titration, particle size analysis) and standard laboratory practices. Strong understanding of quality principles (ISO 9001, GMP, GLP, or relevant sector-specific standards). Experience with quality management systems (QMS), deviation management, and CAPA processes is a plus. Analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and an organized, methodical approach to documentation and data analysis. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments for process improvements and corrective actions. Proficiency in computer applications and statistical analysis tools (such as Excel, minitab, or laboratory information management systems).
