Manufacturing Operations: Carrying out production activities according to the daily plan and managing batch operations (charging raw materials, solvents, intermediates). Quality & Compliance: Ensuring all operations comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), ISO, and other regulatory guidelines (e.g., USFDA, EU GMP). Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed records, including online entries, batch manufacturing records (BMR), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and log books. Equipment Management: Operating, setting up, cleaning (CIP/COP), and maintaining production equipment and machinery, including reactors, blenders, and compression machines. Quality Control Coordination: Coordinating with the Quality Control (QC) department for in-process sampling, testing, and analysis of intermediate and finished products. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to production processes, equipment failures, or process deviations to ensure smooth operations. Safety & Environment (EHS): Adhering to health, safety, and environmental protocols, including the safe handling and disposal of hazardous substances. Process Improvement: Participating in process validation activities and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in efficiency, yield, and cost reduction. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field is often required. Experience: Previous experience (e.g., 2-10+ years depending on the role's seniority) in a similar process industry, especially in API or specialty chemical manufacturing, is typically mandatory.
