Job Purpose: To drive business growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities in the Solar EPC sector. The Senior Sales Executive will build strong client relationships, manage the entire sales cycle, and contribute to the company’s strategic growth in renewable energy projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Business Development o Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, industry events, government data, and referrals. o Research and analyze potential clients, industries, and markets to build a strong sales pipeline. Client Engagement & Relationship Management o Conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their requirements and present tailored solutions. o Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders. Sales Process Management o Share company profile, proposals, and EPC solutions with prospects. o Negotiate and close deals in alignment with company targets and profitability. o Maintain accurate records of interactions and updates in the CRM system. Coordination & Documentation o Collaborate with the technical and project teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and project reports. o Ensure timely submission of documents, tenders, and compliance requirements. Market Research & Strategy o Stay updated with industry trends, government policies, DISCOM/GETCO regulations, and competitor activities. o Provide insights and recommendations to management for business growth. Target Achievement & Reporting o Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. o Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates. Key Skills & Competencies: · Strong knowledge of Solar EPC / Renewable Energy industry (utility-scale and rooftop, Ground mounted projects). · Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. · Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders. · Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online research. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Qualifications & Experience: · Bachelor’s degree in Diploma Electrical, B.E Electrical Engineering Preferred, Business Administration, or related field. · Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales experience in Solar EPC or Renewable Energy projects. · Exposure to government tenders, DISCOM/GETCO processes, and industrial/utility solar projects will be an added advantage.
