Job Description

Develop and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions in
Informatica PowerCenter
.
Write and optimize
SQL and BTEQ scripts
in
Teradata
for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Perform
data profiling
,
data validation
, and
performance tuning
of ETL processes.
Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Manage
data migration
,
incremental loads
, and
error handling
logic.
Implement
source-to-target mappings
,
parameter files
, and
workflow scheduling
(Control-M, Autosys, etc.).
Conduct
unit testing
,
debugging
, and
production support
for ETL jobs.
Work with DBAs and system admins to ensure
query optimization
and
database performance
.
Create and maintain
technical documentation
for ETL processes and data flows.

Required Skills:

Teradata SQL
, BTEQ, utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport).
Informatica PowerCenter
(Designer, Workflow Manager, Workflow Monitor).
Strong SQL tuning
and
data modeling
understanding.
Knowledge of
UNIX/Linux
shell scripting.
Familiarity with
job scheduling tools
(Control-M, Autosys).
Exposure to
performance optimization techniques
in Teradata and Informatica.
