TenderX leverages AI intelligence to enable contractors and manufacturers find better opportunities in government projects. India’s annual public procurement budget is estimated to be around $700 billion. We want to contribute towards optimizing this budget allocation by directing these projects to better contractors and manufacturers. We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable individual to join our Founder's Office to shape strategy, streamline operations, and drive organizational growth. Job Summary : You will be a part of the founding team, supporting high-priority initiatives. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who's motivated to use technology to solve challenges in public infrastructure & supply chains. You’ll be working with a team that has founded and run businesses with revenues upto $50million ARR across Manufacturing, Fintech & Agritech. As a Founding Product Engineer, you will own full product development lifecycle specific verticals. You will build and ship end-to-end features on a Django + Next.js stack, integrate AI agents to automate tender summarization and classification, and build supporting tooling for internal and external customers by understanding business goals and customers needs. This role requires a hands-on builder with strong technical breadth, a product mindset, and a bias towards shipping over writing specs. What You’ll Own Build and own core product features that convert complex government tender documents into searchable, categorized opportunities using AI-powered summarization and tagging. Develop and maintain scalable backend services and responsive frontends aligned with business goals. Wire up and manage third-party APIs and data sources critical to platform functionality. Create admin dashboards and automated workflows that improve operational efficiency and client onboarding. Collaborate deeply with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure product-market fit and maximal client value. Drive iterative improvements based on customer feedback and evolving government procurement policies. Build technical infrastructure for generating and sending out customer deliverables at scale. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of professional experience building production-level web applications, ideally with Django and React/Next.js. Deep understanding of web protocols (HTTP verbs, REST), backend architecture, and relational databases (SQL). Experience integrating AI or NLP tools like LangChain, OpenAI APIs, or similar frameworks. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive, “figure it out” attitude. Strong sense of code quality: readable, maintainable, and well-tested codebases. Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments with minimal supervision. Bonus: Experience building admin dashboards, browser extensions, or working with messy, unstructured data. Qualifications BTech, or equivalent degree from a Tier I institute or demonstrated equivalent experience. Passionate for Indian B2B sector and genuinely loves building. Compensation 6-9 LPA with 0.25-2% Equity depending on experience.
