Telugu DTP Operator / Designer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Telugu DTP Operator with strong expertise in page layout, typesetting, and book/newspaper designing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and PowerPoint, with excellent Telugu typing skills and experience in PDF corrections and print-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and format books, newspapers, magazines, brochures, and marketing materials in Telugu.
• Collaborate with the content and editorial team to create visually appealing layouts.
• Handle typesetting, layout designing of text pages, and cover page compositions specifically for Telugu publications.
• Create design templates, including definition of page size, text area, paragraph and character styles.
• Generate and validate print-ready PDFs, ensuring high-quality output.
• Perform PDF corrections and modifications as per feedback.
• Apply proofreading marks accurately during layout revisions.
• Ensure consistency, readability, and alignment with brand/publishing standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Telugu typing (Unicode/Keyboards such as InScript, Typewriter, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW & PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of typesetting and layout principles.
• Experience in newspaper or book publishing (preferably Telugu).
• Familiarity with proofreading symbols and editorial corrections.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Telugu newspaper/magazine/book publishing industry.
• Knowledge of pre-press and printing standards.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 48 per week
