Male Candidates with a B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication are preferred. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Troubleshoot Maritime Communication Systems : Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of satellite communication devices including Starlink, VSAT, Iridium OpenPort (IOP), FleetBroadband (FBB), and other onboard maritime equipment. Communication Database Maintenance : Maintain and update a computerized vessel communication system and database for tracking equipment, configurations, and service history. Customer and Vessel Support : Respond promptly to inquiries from vessels and customers, providing technical assistance and ensuring high service satisfaction. Satellite Communication Administration : Distribute satellite-compatible calling cards and call data records (CDRs) to vessels via email. Service Activation and Configuration : Activate Inmarsat SIM cards and configure vessel communication systems including SkyFile email and SkyFile-C (SAT-C email services). Onboard Crew Internet Management : Provide technical support for crew internet services, maintain usage records, and prepare monthly reports for monitoring and billing. Training and Skill Development : Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and stay current with evolving technologies. Additional Information 1. Freshers with good English communication skills are welcome to apply. 2. The support team consists of 5 members. Night shift rotation is mandatory. o The candidate must be capable of handling the shift independently. 3. A 2-year service commitment is required from the date of joining. o Educational certificates will be held in safekeeping during this period.
