Telecom Engineer

As a Telecom Engineer at Hanwha Ocean, you will be responsible for engineering activities primarily focused on Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities. Your role will involve developing technical standards, procedures, and workflows to ensure the integration of Instrument design data and keeping them updated, practical, and aligned with Project Lesson Learns. You will work closely with Senior Engineers and Lead Engineers to support the overall engineering process. This position may involve frequent travel to the US, Europe, and Asia, as well as providing support to Hanwha Ocean engineering teams in the USA, Netherlands, Singapore, India, and other locations as required. You will play a key role in managing corporate organization, ensuring compliance with design codes, standards, and client specifications, and facilitating communication and information exchange between different disciplines. Your responsibilities will include developing Project Design Philosophies, Standards, and Procedures, working with Engineering Software like SPI, and participating in various project phases such as Pre-FEED, FEED, FEED Verification, and EPCI engineering. You will also be involved in developing Instrument calculations, studies, and deliverables, reviewing Vendor Documents related to Telecom deliverables, and ensuring the accuracy of all Telecom deliverables in the as-built phase. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum bachelor's degree in Instrument/Electronics & Communication or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in Telecom design Engineering. Proficiency in Engineering Software like SPI and fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills are essential for success in this position.
