Job description Solid knowledge in TCP/IP, networking protocols, switches and routers Knowledge of network security management, firewalls and security protocols Need to be able to perform Network related project task execution with minimal supervision Strong Hands on knowledge and implementation experience on Cisco switching Hands-on configuration and implementation experience on Fortigate Firewalls Hands-on experience or knowledge in Next Generation Firewalls (Cyber roam, Sonic Wall, Sophos , Palo Alto etc). Experience in configuring and establishing internet connectivity in firewall. Experience in configuring UTM - Unified Threat Management ( Web,Application,Ips) profiles for internet firewall policies. Experience in configuring Vpn (Site-to-Site, Dial-up and Dmvpn) between Firewalls and routers. Experience in working with Vendor Tac tickets/calls and work with the customer to solve their day-to-day issues. Experience with mitigation of security threats at firewall level Knowledge of attack patterns and DNS specific attacks Working knowledge on Wireless controllers like Cisco WLC or Fortigate or Aruba or Meraki. Configuration Hands on Wireless technology LDAP integration/Captive portal etc Experience on any of the Load Balancers will be an added advantage - Citrix Netscaler/ F5 Preferred working knowledge of other brand Switches and Routers Experience with complex network analysis tools such as tcpdump, Wireshark, etc Certification:- CCNA,CCNP, NSE 1,NSE 2,NSE3
