Content Strategist Intern About the Role TMHS is looking for a chronically online critic at heart to join us as a Content Strategist Intern. If you’ve ever written a 2,000-word essay in the group chat about why a Netflix show missed the mark, or you can’t watch a commercial without deconstructing the underlying capitalist messaging—we want you. We need someone whose command over English is stronger than capitalism’s grip on natural resources. Someone who reads the room, the timeline, and the cultural moment with equal precision. What You’ll Do Curate and create content for TMHS social media channels and blog that cuts through the noise with sharp cultural commentary Develop content strategies that spark conversations, not just engagement metrics Analyze trends in pop culture, psychology, and media with a critical lens—because we’re not here for surface-level takes Write, edit, and polish pieces that challenge, question, and illuminate what everyone else is scrolling past Monitor cultural conversations across platforms and identify moments where TMHS needs to weigh in Collaborate with our team to ensure our voice stays consistent: smart, critical, and unapologetically thoughtful Who You Are Perpetually online (but in a productive way)—you know what’s trending before it trends A natural critic who can’t help but analyze everything from TikTok microtrends to prestige TV to the psychology behind viral marketing campaigns Excellent writer with a distinctive voice and the ability to adapt tone while maintaining our critical edge Culturally fluent across platforms, communities, and discourse—you get the references and the subtext Opinionated but open-minded—you have strong takes but can engage with complexity and nuance Self-directed with the ability to pitch ideas, execute them, and iterate based on feedback Comfortable with discomfort—we’re not afraid to critique, and neither should you be Bonus Points Background or coursework in media studies, psychology, communications, cultural studies, or related fields Experience managing social media or writing for digital platforms Portfolio of writing that shows your analytical chops and personality Fluency in internet culture, meme literacy, and platform-specific communication styles Job Types: Fresher, Internship Work Location: Remote
