Role - Senior Automation QA Engineer Experience - 5 - 6 years Location - Remote We're seeking a technically skilled and customer-oriented Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic and high-performing Development team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and dependability of our client solutions through both manual and automated testing. This is a remote-first role that requires close collaboration with our global development team. What You will Do Develop and execute robust manual and automated test plans. Actively participate in sprint and release planning, ensuring thorough testing integration across the delivery lifecycle. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and client teams to define test requirements and identify potential quality risks. Lead improvements to testing frameworks, tools, and processes. Advocate for quality best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives within engineering teams. Mentor junior testers and promote a culture of learning and collaboration. Assess and incorporate new tools and techniques to enhance test effectiveness and scalability. What We are Looking For Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities and a client-focused mindset. Proven experience in both manual and automated testing within agile or iterative environments. In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, test case development, and defect lifecycle. Practical experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Github Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). Skilled in API testing using tools like Postman or similar. Understanding and knowledge of performance testing, including tools like JMeter. Understanding and knowledge of security testing, including OWASP principles, ability to identify and exploit vulnerabilities, and knowledge of cryptographic techniques. Bonus Points Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of containerisation tools like Docker or Kubernetes. Certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent.
