As a Guidewire Policy Centre Support professional with 1.5 to 2.5 years of experience, your primary responsibilities will involve supporting and maintaining Guidewire Policy Center. This includes working on maintenance, configuration, testing, integration, and deployment tasks. You should be prepared to work in shifts, including rotational shifts such as India Shift and US Shift, as well as provide on-call support on a rotating schedule. Your expertise should encompass a deep understanding of the Guidewire framework, implementation, architecture, and components. Experience with Guidewire Policy Center version 9.0 or higher is crucial, along with proficiency in development streams like configuration, integration, and both. Your skills should extend to Guidewire platform components such as Gosu scripting, UI development, and data modeling. Additionally, you should be adept at implementing rules using GOSU scripting and configuring metadata rules, including UI validation. Proficiency in Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and enterprise messaging systems is required. Familiarity with Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic, as well as experience in enterprise system integration, particularly in the Insurance domain, is beneficial. Your role will involve utilizing tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, SOAP-UI, Eclipse IDE, SVN, and Jenkins for incident and problem management. To qualify for this position, you should have hands-on experience in Guidewire CC configuration, Gosu scripting, UI, data models, Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, and enterprise messaging systems. Possessing certifications in Guidewire CC and ITIL would be advantageous.
