Job Description

The Technology Specialist IT (.Net) is responsible for building software applications using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. Your role will involve designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications, as well as providing technical support and maintaining software throughout its lifecycle. You will need to effectively manage your time to ensure commitments are met and customers are satisfied. Your tasks will include Backend/Server-Side Development using ASP.Net, C#, MVC, Web application, RESTful API, and Oracle. It is essential to analyze technologies, technical processes, and functions to develop high-quality, well-factored code using TDD. Writing integration and UI automation tests will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with Business Analysts, disparate user groups, and development teams is crucial to gather requirements effectively. Troubleshooting and responding to system issues when required will be part of your daily routine. You are accountable for ensuring that systems are developed and operated in a robust, reliable, and maintainable manner from the beginning, applying techniques such as unit testing, continuous integration, automated testing, and system monitoring. Participation in the development process, active involvement in team decisions, and assisting in various areas as needed will also be expected. Managing stakeholder expectations appropriately and consistently meeting or exceeding these expectations are vital aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience. You should have 6+ years of hands-on experience in the Development and support of .Net Enterprise Applications. Possessing an ITIL Certification would be beneficial. A solid working knowledge of current IT technologies, licensing, and data privacy regulations is required. Excellent customer service skills, strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a high-pressure environment are essential for success in this role.,
