Project Role :Technology OpS Support Practitioner Project Role Description :Own the integrity and governance of systems, including best practices for delivering services. Develop, deploy and support infrastructures, applications and technology initiatives from an architectural and operational perspective in conjunction with existing standards and methods of delivery. Must have skills :Vmware Virtualization Administration Good to have skills :NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification :Graduated Job Summary1.Installing and Configuring ESXi 6.x ,7.x and 8.x 2.Installing and configuring vCenter 6.x ,7.x and 8.x 3.ESXi Commission and Decommission4.ESXi/vCenter License Management 5.ESXi Patching, Firmware and BIOS upgrade, Major version upgrade.( like ESXi 7.0 to 8.0)6.vCenter patching and Major version upgrade 7.ESXi Certificate and vCenter Cert management8.Creating Storage connectivity from ESXI to Storage 9.Create datastore in cluster/Add storage ESXi.10.Configure Distributed/Stand Switch for ESXi or cluster.11.Create Kernel(Management, storage, vMotion) and Virtual Machine Port group12.Cluster config-Configure HA and DRS, Host affinity rules if needed, Enhanced vMotion for different CPU family hypervisor.13.Configure System Config (Sysconfig) to into any External Storage location(NFS, or LUN)14.Alarm Definition and SNMP Receiver configuration in vCenter 15.Access Management to vCenter and ESXi16.Good Understanding VSAN and NSX-T17.Worked on Site Recovery Manager.18.Sound Knowledge on HCI product like Nutanix, VxRail19.Capacity and forecasting- Any Tools vReazile Orchestrator20.Basic Knowledge on Netapp, EMC and HP storage production21.Good Knowledge on ESXi and Networking and Storage Connectivity.22.Having hands on esxcli and ESXi commands.23.Good Knowledge on Vmware PowerCLI 24.Hardware replacement.25.Power Maintenance.26.Depth knowledge on HP Enclosure /HP Onboard Administrator/Virtual Connect configuration and troubleshooting.27.Good Knowledge on Leveno hardware28.Good knowledge UCS domain, Chassis, and blades Management.29.Good Fabric Interconnect and Layer 3 switch connectivity.Key Responsibilities1.In depth knowledge on Vmware Administration. 2.Experience of managing multiple versions ESXi/vCenters.3.Good Knowledge on Cisco UCS administration 4.Good Troubleshooting Skills5.Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.6.Technical documentation skills.7.Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.8.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 9.Prepare the RCA and Check the SLA as per project requirements.10.Leading a team of 8-20 Members11.Managing stakeholder and clients 12.Presenting Governance data with Internal Management and client as well.Work Experience:1.Minimum 8-12 years of experince in Vmwware Adminstration.2.Experience must have been gained in a production environment.Work Requirements:1.Take part in 24x7 Shift Rotations including Morning, Evening and Night Shifts.2.Work out of hours evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays at reasonable request to perform production changes.3.Travel to other locations when required.4.Able to work from home occasionally.5.Be flexible to work with other platforms.6.Improve the Knowledge in different and latest technologies.
