No Prior Experience Required. Freshers may apply. The position requires no prior experience. GeneTech will train the candidate hired for a period of one year in the area of Genomics wet lab work. Requires 1.5 years of commitment. If candidate already has experience, it is an added advantage. Pay as per work experience. Probation terms may be applicable for Freshers. Title & Position Job involves working in the wet lab of Genomics Department at our Laboratory as a full-time Technologist - Genomics . Role & responsibilities Molecular lab wet laboratory tasks include Manual and automated DNA extraction DNA quantification Primer designing PCR and gel documentation Sanger sequencing Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) - Library Preparation, Purification Cytomicroarray Other diagnostic test protocols Result analysis, reporting and quality control tasks are part of the job profile. Preferred candidate profile Education in any biological sciences (Graduate or Post-graduate) Lab experience working on PCR added advantage Freshers hired, no experience needed (will train, need 1.5 years commitment) Serious about career in genomics and molecular genetics Good writing and communication skills Good academics WOMEN APPLICANTS ONLY About Work Six day week Total 8 hours of work per day Work hours could be 8-5, 9-6 or 10-7.
