As a Block Engineer Team Leader, your responsibilities include: - Coordinating and leading a team of block engineers, Fire & Safety Officers, team leaders, supervisors, technicians, operators, and civil workers to cover various areas of responsibility. - Assigning tasks to staff, supervising task performance, and monitoring deadlines for all scheduled tasks. - Supervising shift operations and ensuring operational requirements are maintained as instructed. - Coordinating staff management, task priorities, and work methods in a timely manner. - Guiding staff to understand and operate complex machinery and systems during breakdowns. - Monitoring and ensuring the achievement of agreed service levels, following up on any deficiencies or snags. - Preparing maintenance concepts, improvement proposals, and material evaluations for plant-related maintenance. - Ensuring the economic functionality of all departments and facilities. - Taking responsibility for all periodic and timely reporting, studying equipment performance, and updating observations to superiors. - Assisting in installing new equipment and systems, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment as needed. - Ensuring vendor activities are performed only after the issue of permits. - Ensuring activities are conducted with all safety measures and with quality work. - Identifying, reporting, and mitigating hazards with necessary control measures. - Maintaining all records and logs with required parameters and necessary signatures as instructed. - Preparing reports and analysis according to contract and/or customer requirements. - Responding to routine and emergency calls for all operational issues. - Ensuring all stock/inventories are up to date. - Conducting walk-throughs, observing abnormalities/unsafe conditions/unsafe acts, and escalating observed issues by raising helpdesk tickets. - Inspecting the complete facility, recording fault findings, and taking necessary corrective and preventive actions. - Ensuring zero accidents, zero injuries, and 100% upkeep and uptime of all equipment. - Verifying invoices, delivery notes, and work hours for in-house, external vendors, and suppliers. - Performing duties with a high level of Integrity, Commitment, and responsibility.
