Technical/Solution Architect

You are a skilled .NET Technical/Solution Architect with over 7 years of experience in .NET technologies, including at least 3 years of experience in architecting or leading large-scale migration or modernization projects. Your role will involve leading the modernization and cloud migration of a significant legacy enterprise application to a 3-tier architecture on AWS, using .NET 7/8, Angular SPA, and PostgreSQL. In this position, you will define and implement the technical strategy for the end-to-end application modernization. You will lead the migration of VB.NET WinForms to Angular-based Single Page Applications using both automated and manual techniques. Additionally, you will oversee the database migration from SQL Server to PostgreSQL, ensuring compatibility across schemas, procedures, and data. To excel in this role, you must have proven experience in VB.NET to C#/.NET Core/.NET 7+ migration, including the use of code converters, GenAI-assisted tools, or scripting for code transformation. A strong background in migrating 2-tier architecture applications to 3-tier architecture is essential. You should possess a deep understanding of the differences between SQL Server and PostgreSQL, migration tooling such as SCT and DMS, as well as expertise in building REST APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API. While not mandatory, familiarity with BizTalk or other legacy integration systems and AWS services like DMS would be advantageous. Your proficiency in languages such as VB.NET, C#, TypeScript, frameworks like .NET 7/8, Angular 14+, and databases like SQL Server and PostgreSQL, along with tools like AWS SCT, DMS, and Code converters, will be critical for success in this role. Experience working with cloud services, particularly AWS, will also be beneficial.,
