Technical Writer (DITA/XML and Adobe FrameMaker)

Role Overview: As an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer at UST, you will apply engineering principles to develop professional and cost-effective designs as part of a team. You will work closely with Designer-III and Lead to ensure the successful completion of projects. Key Responsibilities: - Electrical: - Develop 2D wire harness drawings conforming to customer requirements and industrial drafting standards - Design hardware fixation components using 3D modeling module - Create wire harness routing designs in 3D and ensure secure routing to connectors - Understand and create schematic drawings - Mechanical: - Design hydraulic systems, select components and fittings, and create hydraulic routings using Pro-E Wildfire - Design structural members, castings, weld fabrications, and structural welding components - Contribute to mechanical or electrical integration in vehicle integration and assembly - Apply Finite Element Analysis in mechanical design Qualifications Required: - Ability to perform interference checks against top-level assembly - Proficiency in creating harness drawings - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Analytical and conceptual thinking abilities - Team player with strong interpersonal skills - Knowledge of appropriate 3D software modules, GD&T, and value analysis-value engineering - Domain knowledge in various sectors such as off-highway mining equipment, automotive, aerospace, etc. - Proficiency in Creo, Cabling, Piping, Sheet Metal, AutoCAD, MBA, and other relevant tools About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that has been working with leading companies for over 20 years.
