Technical Writer (DITA XML)

You are an experienced Technical Writer with over 9 years of experience, specializing in DITA XML for creating high-quality hardware and software documentation within the semiconductor industry. Your expertise in Oxygen XML, Component Content Management Systems (CCMS), and adherence to industry-standard style guides will be invaluable in this role. Your main responsibilities will include developing and maintaining technical documentation for semiconductor hardware and software, structuring content using DITA XML and CCMS, ensuring documentation consistency following MSTP and Cisco Style Guides, and collaborating with engineering teams to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation. You will also be expected to utilize various tools such as Oxygen XML Author, AEM, Arbortext XML Editor, Windchill, Confluence, Jira, UltraCSDB, InDesign, FrameMaker, and GitHub. Additionally, having self-learning capabilities and working knowledge of Python will be a definite plus. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 9 years of experience in technical documentation for both hardware and software, hands-on expertise with DITA XML and Oxygen XML, experience working with CCMS environments, familiarity with hardware documentation, user guides, and manuals, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
