Job Description

Role Overview: You will be a part of an international team focused on digitalization solutions, working within an editorial team to produce technical documentation of one or more products at Siemens Energy. Your responsibilities will include processing technical documents using CCMS or Latex-based solutions, creating and updating document type definitions and style templates based on SE guidelines, applying information architectures and standards, and crafting and maintaining documents to tailor them to the target audience. Your role will involve ensuring the best user experience for customers and end users in all media formats by utilizing efficient workflows, leveraging CCMS capabilities, and using AI tools for quick reviews and improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver error-free and reader-friendly technical documents in English, with a tailored writing style and accurate content - Handle complexities in document creation/editing using CCMS and Latex - Possess knowledge of MadCap, Latex tools, and Visual Studio Code - Manage paper-based and digital-based documentation - Inspect document quality, observe standards, and ensure content accuracy - Revise technical content focusing on terminology and style - Implement document type definitions and style templates in editorial tools - Support the management of editorial processes, including reviews and archiving of content components - Devise and test basic user flows and storyboards for the user journey through product documentation - Provide translation assistance, including translation previews with AI and peer support for translations - Communicate with authors, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to address content-related issues Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency in English writing, grammar, and syntax - Experience in technical writing and documentation using CCMS and Latex - Knowledge of MadCap, Latex tools, and Visual Studio Code is advantageous - Ability to manage editorial processes and ensure document quality - Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders (Note: Omitting the additional details of the company as per the provided instructions),
