TECHNICAL VENDOR MANAGER

As a Technical Vendor Manager with 5-9 years of experience, your role involves overseeing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with audits, security, regulatory requirements, and end-to-end application ownership. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues impacting compliance, finance, billing operations, and product management. - Monitor compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements, including driving remediation efforts and maintaining funding prioritization lists. - Generate and analyze reports to monitor application performance and compliance, engaging various groups to develop and track remediation plans. - Review and approve vulnerability exceptions and coordinate database and operating system patching at the application level. - Track and manage vendor performance against metrics and SLAs, ensuring cost-effective solutions and compliance with standards. - Support rapid deployment processes by reviewing and approving requests, ensuring they meet requirements and criteria. - Participate in cloud migration and data centre closing activities, including managing access to subscriptions and tools. - Interface with vendors to ensure resolution of issues and provide necessary authorization. - Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate changes or remediation of compliance issues. - Attend calls and meetings to understand new requirements and communicate them to relevant teams. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. - 5-10 years of experience in application management, IT security, or a related field. - Proven experience in vendor management, project management, or a related role. - Strong understanding of compliance, security, and audit requirements. - Knowledge of vulnerability management, security scanning tools, and remediation processes. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
