Job Description

Join us as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) in Wholesale Lending, where you will collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, operations users, and project teams to define training requirements. Your role will involve planning, managing, and delivering training and user accreditation to ensure the Wholesale Lending Operations Business Area meets key milestone dates. You will be evaluated based on critical skills essential for success in this role, including a deep understanding of lending/servicing across all debt products, knowledge of ACBS/loan IQ, experience in delivering training globally, proficiency in creating and delivering structured training programs, adeptness in dealing with stakeholders at all levels, quick adaptability to new systems and processes, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent presentation abilities, and experience in Corporate and/or Investment Bank lending. Purpose of the Role: Your primary responsibility will be to support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day tasks such as processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. Key Accountabilities: 1. Support Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution through lending technical expertise. 2. Monitor the bank's lending operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. 3. Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes. 4. Identify areas for improvement, recommend changes in Wholesale Lending processes, and implement procedures and controls to mitigate risks. 5. Develop reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance, communicating findings to internal senior stakeholders. 6. Identify industry trends and implement best practices in Wholesale Lending Services. 7. Participate in projects and initiatives to enhance Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness. Expectations for Assistant Vice President: 1. Consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders to resolve escalated issues. 2. Identify ways to mitigate risk, develop new policies/procedures, and strengthen controls to support the control and governance agenda. 3. Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls in alignment with organizational objectives. 4. Collaborate with other business areas to stay informed about business activity and strategy. 5. Engage in complex data analysis from various internal and external sources to creatively solve problems. 6. Effectively communicate complex information, influencing stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
