Technical Support- Endurance

As a Technical Support - Endurance at Hero MotoCorp, located in Jaipur, your role will involve assisting in the preparation and execution of vehicle tests to ensure timely and efficient completion of test activities, data processing, and vehicle assembly/dismantling. Your key responsibilities will include supporting vehicle preparation for testing, completing tests with accurate data collection, processing raw data for analysis and reporting, handling and maintaining test instruments and equipment, providing support for organizational initiatives, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals. A typical day in your role will involve vehicle assembly and dismantling for test activities, monitoring parts assembly as per SOPs, learning the use and objective of parts to enhance test output, identifying different test cases and preparing a complete test plan, arranging test instruments on the vehicle according to test requirements, conducting test activities as per standards and SOPs with good riding skills to perform worst riding condition tests. To qualify for this role, you should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering with relevant experience. You should possess technical skills and knowledge in durability testing, benchmarking test of vehicles, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, identifying and troubleshooting vehicle-related problems, and collecting and monitoring test data using DAQ systems and sensors. Behavioral skills required for this role include safety awareness for physically demanding tasks, technical awareness with good riding skills and safety mindset, understanding of new testing tools and instrumentation, continuous learning to stay updated with new testing methodologies and instruments, and the initiative to take on challenges. Other desired competencies for this role include having experience in the automobile industry, subjective vehicle evaluation skills, willingness to work in the field and on vehicles independently, and hands-on experience in two-wheeler testing.
