As a professional at Colgate-Palmolive, you will have the opportunity to join the Information Technology team and contribute to the development of applications utilizing the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). Your role will involve working with the HR Applications team in Global IT to support various technologies such as SuccessFactors, BTP applications, and integrations for HR data. Your primary focus will be on developing new interfaces and applications on the ABAP Environment within SAP BTP based on RAP, while also exploring other BTP services like Automation and AI to enhance applications and maintain existing systems. You should be adaptable and willing to explore various technical areas to support HR business processes effectively. **Main Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement applications and interfaces using the BTP RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model), including creating new UI and processing frameworks. - Prioritize performance optimization in application development to ensure efficient processing of large datasets with robust quality checks. - Design and conduct comprehensive unit tests to uphold high code quality standards. - Translate complex business requirements into effective development solutions. - Demonstrate a strong motivation for continuous improvement of solutions and active exploration of new technologies. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in ABAP development. - Proficiency in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). - Eagerness and capacity to quickly learn and adopt new technologies. - Ability to efficiently build upon existing technical knowledge. - Commitment to creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for development objects. - Proficiency in developing and maintaining application code following established coding standards. - Skilled in performing detailed unit testing to ensure code meets specified requirements. - Collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Added Advantage: Knowledge in areas like SuccessFactors, SAPUI5, OData, various BTP Services, JavaScript, and Web Development.
