Technical Specialist

Role Overview: You are required to be an experienced agile technical lead focusing on delivering new business functionality and mentoring less experienced colleagues in a development team. Your role is crucial in the Web Delivery team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality systems to the business. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Web & Mobile product architect to define and implement RIA using JavaScript frameworks. - Enhance the productivity and quality of development teams by advocating agile practices and sharing skills through mentoring. Qualification Required: - At least 8 years of IT experience. - Strong skills in JavaScript and REST services with 6 years of web application development experience. - 2 years of experience in Rich Internet Applications using JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, Backbone/Angular/Ember. - Proficiency in JavaScript libraries like Grunt, Mocha, Karma. - Hands-on experience working with JavaScript. Additional Details: You will collaborate with the Project Manager and Web Architect in a team of 8-10 people. The role involves delivering business functionality to FundsNetwork web applications for new financial products in pre and post-retirement markets.
