As part of Edelman's ongoing evolution as a top communications consultancy, there is a significant emphasis on product development, particularly in the realm of technology and services that utilize data and AI to revolutionize both Edelman's operations and those of its clients. In order to realize this ambitious vision, Edelman is in the process of establishing a crucial new AI-driven division comprised of four key departments, each tasked with distinct roles and responsibilities related to the creation, delivery, and implementation of AI and data solutions within Edelman and the broader communications industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking AI Technical Solutions Builder to become a valuable member of our team, contributing to the shaping of AI-powered applications of the future. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and constructing resilient, scalable backend systems that incorporate cutting-edge GPT technologies. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be essential in translating innovative concepts into reality, utilizing modern APIs, AI models, and automation tools to explore the boundaries of technological possibilities. Responsibilities: - Develop and manage backend applications by utilizing advanced AI chat and agent completion APIs. - Create and deploy scalable cloud-based architectures that facilitate tailored GPT functionalities. - Work closely with internal teams to gather requirements and implement effective backend solutions. - Enhance application performance, ensuring reliability and scalability. - Continuously enhance existing applications and introduce new features that align with the evolving AI landscape. Qualifications: - Fundamental knowledge of GPT models (e.g., ChatGPT, OpenAI API, prompt engineering). - Familiarity with tools such as OpenAI's Custom GPTs and Microsoft Copilot. - Substantial experience in backend software development. - Proficiency in programming languages like Python and JavaScript or familiarity with no-code/low-code platforms. - Experience with AI models, particularly GPT-based APIs, and their integration into applications. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS and Azure, as well as associated deployment tools. - Understanding of database systems and principles of RESTful/API design. - Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment. - Bonus: Experience in full-stack software development. - Bonus: Familiarity with OpenAI functionalities such as GPT Actions, Assistants API, function calling, finetuning, and Copilot integrations within the Microsoft ecosystem.
