Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description

Position Overview: As a Technical Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to drive sales by promoting and selling valves, pumps, control valve, steam traps and services to Industrial Clients. You will serve as the key point of contact between the company and its clients, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets. Your role requires a deep understanding of the products or services you are selling, as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Key Responsibilities: Sales Generation: Identify potential customers, develop leads, and build a strong sales pipeline. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the technical products/services offered by the company. Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence, including customer feedback, competitor activities, and industry trends. Provide input to product development teams regarding customer needs, emerging market opportunities, and potential product enhancements. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's / Diploma degree in Mechanical or Computer Science. Strong knowledge of technical products/services and the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using sales tools and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
