Technical Project Manager - Kolkata

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of development projects, providing project leadership, ensuring quality, and timely delivery. Your role will involve managing client-based projects, client liaison, pre-sales activities, and overseeing cross-functional development efforts. You will be tasked with determining and defining project scope and objectives, accurately predicting resources required to achieve these objectives, and efficiently managing resources. It will be your responsibility to prepare a budget based on project scope and resource needs, and closely monitor project costs to ensure they align with the budget. Developing and managing a detailed project schedule and work plan will be crucial to your role, as well as providing regular project updates to stakeholders. You will need to manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, assign tasks, and communicate expected deliverables effectively. Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution is essential, along with measuring project performance to identify areas for improvement. In addition, you will provide leadership and direction to the delivery teams, handle operational issues related to the delivery center, and act as the single point of contact for delivery, bridging the gap between service delivery and the customer. Crisis management coordination and driving crisis resolution will also be part of your responsibilities. Requirements for this role include good technical experience in Java, Angular, DevOps, and open-source projects, a strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture, and a background in developing and delivering complex projects. Experience in managing delivery objectives in Onshore and Offshore Models for multiple clients globally is essential. You should possess skills in project planning, progress monitoring, budget control, milestone control, problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, exposure to AWS, DevOps, and CI/CD will be advantageous. This position is based in Kolkata.,
