Technical Project Manager / Engineering Manager Java

As a Technical Project Manager / Engineering Manager with a background in Java development, you will be responsible for managing and delivering complex, scalable software solutions. Your role will require a combination of technical expertise and project management skills to lead high-performing teams and ensure the success of multiple projects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the end-to-end software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, development, deployment, and support. - Manage various project types such as Fixed Price and Time & Material (T&M) engagements. - Oversee agile development practices like Scrum/Kanban, sprint planning, and team collaboration across distributed locations. - Provide technical leadership in solution design and development using Java, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Align technical solutions with business objectives by collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development Teams. - Drive best practices in Microservices Architecture, Kafka, Micro-Frontend (MFE) design, and Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure). - Lead DevOps initiatives to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes (K8s), and efficient monitoring/logging tools. - Proactively identify and resolve technical bottlenecks to ensure high performance and scalability of software systems. - Foster a culture of excellence through mentorship, technical guidance, and career development of team members. Key Skills & Qualifications: - 10-15 years of experience in software engineering, covering development, testing, and delivery. - Minimum 5 years of experience in technical project/engineering management, handling large-scale software projects. - Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, Kafka, and Micro-Frontend (MFE) frameworks. - Strong grasp of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), CI/CD tools and pipelines, containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms like AWS/Azure. - Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and collaborate with global stakeholders. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
