Technical Manager Medical Insurance

Role Overview: As a Technical Manager in Medical Insurance, your primary responsibility is to utilize your expertise in Insurance/Re-insurance domain knowledge to provide effective solutions and services to clients. You will be responsible for developing database architectural strategies, designing and developing enterprise-grade applications, and leading complex/mid-sized projects using Waterfall & Agile methodologies. Your role also involves troubleshooting and optimizing database performance, supporting frontend developers, and conducting data migrations. Key Responsibilities: - Must have very strong Insurance/Re-insurance domain knowledge in Corporate lines (P&C, Engineering, Marine, Energy, etc.) - Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively liaise with UK clients - Develop database architectural strategies at the modeling, design, and implementation stages to meet business and industry requirements - Extensive database programming experience in writing Oracle PLSQL Stored procedures, Functions, Triggers, Constraints, and Indexes using various DDL and DML commands - Design and develop enterprise-grade applications - Proficient in Waterfall & Agile project methodologies - Lead complex/mid-sized projects in all aspects - Experience in development & maintenance projects - Support frontend developers (Java) and possess Core/Advanced Java knowledge - Experience with aggregating large data sets, specifically within a data warehouse environment - Work with complex large scale source systems and business intelligence technologies - Troubleshoot and correct issues with existing applications in the data warehouse environment - Perform data migration from legacy systems to new systems - Knowledge of Database Administration - Conduct ad-hoc business requested data extractions - Analyze and optimize database performance - Possess strong systems analysis, problem-solving, and design skills Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in Insurance/Re-insurance domain knowledge in Corporate lines - Proficiency in Oracle PLSQL programming and database administration - Experience in Waterfall & Agile project methodologies - Strong communication skills for client interaction - Knowledge of Core/Advanced Java for supporting frontend developers - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize database performance - Strong systems analysis, problem-solving, and design skills For any further inquiries or clarifications, feel free to contact the employer at +91 8610569663 or via email at sakthi.sankar@extendotech.com.,
