Technical Lighting TD

As a potential candidate for this role, you should have experience in feature animation, visual effects, or game industry production. It is essential to have proficiency in using Katana and Renderman, along with scripting experience in languages such as Python and Lua. Your role will require both strong technical skills and creative problem-solving abilities. Collaboration with a team of artists is a key aspect of this position, so previous experience in this area is necessary. A solid understanding of a VFX or Feature Animation pipeline is crucial for success in this role. Familiarity with modern physically based rendering technology and pipelines is also expected. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is another essential requirement for this position. In addition to the must-have qualifications, having exceptional communication skills for interacting with both technical and artistic groups would be advantageous. Software development experience in languages like Python, C, or C++ is a nice-to-have skill. Experience in lighting, shading, and/or compositing, as well as familiarity with Nuke, would also be beneficial. Being able to prototype rapidly and provide quick solutions is considered a plus. Previous work experience in a fast-paced creative technology environment is preferred. In terms of personal qualities, you should be detail-oriented, organized, and a good communicator.
