You will be joining Cisco Secure Common Services Engineering, a team of cybersecurity experts and innovative engineers dedicated to supporting products and developers across Cisco Security. As a Technical Leader, you will play a crucial role in Common Services Platform Engineering, providing the foundational components for the Cisco Security Cloud. Your mission will be to ensure seamless integration of products, delivering exceptional user experiences for customers and stakeholders within Cisco. Problem-solving, innovation, and a drive for improvement will be integral to your responsibilities, directly impacting a multi-billion-dollar market. Key responsibilities include leading design, influencing implementation, and ensuring timely releases aligned with business objectives and future scalability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as PM, UX, and Engineering Management will be essential. You will drive simplification, effective communication, and swift execution to achieve business goals. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to enhance user experience, performance, and automation while staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in IAM. Mentoring engineers to excel in their work will also be part of your role. Minimum Qualifications: - 12+ years of hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and developing scalable software products/services. - Strong expertise in developing and maintaining highly available, containerized microservices using GoLang and REST. - Proficiency in identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC. - Proven experience with popular AWS services like API Gateway and DynamoDB, along with conducting performance optimizations for microservices. - Experience with IDaaS platforms like Okta, Ping, Azure AD, etc. - Good knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP). Preferred Qualifications: - Exceptional problem-solving skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks. - Experience with CI/CD and terraform. - Experience in building and managing services with 99.999 SLA.
